United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) – the first comprehensive federal university in the United Arab Emirates. It was founded in 1976 by the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

UAEU aspires to become a comprehensive, research-intensive university and currently enrolls approximately 14,200 Emirati and international students.
